Hyundai hydraulic pump 31Q8-30120 31LB-40300 fan pump assy for Crawler excavator R300LC-9A
Fan pump/gear pump is a transmission component that converts rotational motion into oil flow. Its working principle is to achieve oil transportation and pressure transformation through the interaction between gears. In traditional gear pumps, additional bearings are generally required to support the shaft, increasing the durability and stability of the pump. But in the design of modern gear pumps, many have eliminated the traditional component of bearings. Why is this happening?
The Hyundai equipment is equipped with a fan pump/gear pump, which features high pressure (25-31.5 MPa), automatic compensation of clearance for floating side plates, high volumetric efficiency (≥ 90%), anti pollution design, and compact structure suitable for hydraulic systems of construction machinery.
1. Reduce friction
Traditional gear pumps require the use of bearings to support the shaft, which increases the contact surface between the shaft and bearings, making it prone to wear and friction. In the design without bearings, the shaft and pump casing are directly designed to have absolutely consistent dimensions, reducing rotational friction and thus reducing power loss.
2. Reduce costs
Cancelling the traditional component of bearings not only reduces the number of parts and lowers costs, but also simplifies the maintenance process.
3. Improve stability
Bearings will generate vibration during high-speed rotation, which may affect the stability of pump operation. In bearingless gear pumps, the number of rotating parts is reduced, reducing pump vibration and noise, thereby improving stability.
